Issue 390 – All ’bout the Garrison Cap

Greetings Programs! In this issue, all kinds of geeky fun is had. We’re joined by Kurt Busiek and Matthew Clark to talk about Astro City and specifically issue 42. Which naturally leads to conversations about War Emus, Flying Horses, Garrison Caps, Rock ‘n Roll Gorillas, the Dick Van Dyke Show commanding a Starship, and riding a Dire Capybara in battle. Yeah. It’s good times.

Issue 356 – Your Tusks Are Weak

Greetings Programs! Such a great and nerdy show this week. First, we are again joined by Greg Rucka and Matthew Clark to talk all things Wonder Woman Rebirth #1, and the challenges and pleasures that come with such a cultural icon. Then, Merrick Monroe pops in and gets down to serious Horde business and talks all things Warcraft. Shocking no one, this show takes a hard turn into the awesomely geeky. Too much to even recap, just listen, this is a good one!

And don’t forget – Tombstone live commentary at Reverend Nat’s on June 17th! Prepare that smoke-wagon.

Geek in the City Radio Issue 117

What an issue friends! After taking a week off, the crew is back and in fighting shape (round). First, the boys try and recap their 4th of July weekends, but not before Dan Clark gets Scott Dally to accept a very special DVD review. To which we must all hold him accountable. Then, guest Daniel pops in to talk about the D&D Summer Camp For Kids, an awesome event that Aaron wishes had been around when he was a wee Paladin. Then, 4th of July talk with black powder, rodeos, free BBQ, and how Aaron said goodbye to a very special friend. Also, how you can join the first ever Geek in the City Poker Invitational on Saturday, August 13. Finally, a truly epic and thoughtful Fun With Race with the one and only, Kielen King. As always, special thanks to Bobby Roberts. Whew, told you!
