Greetings Programs! Look at that, 200 episodes and we couldn’t do it without you! What a great show. We open with an interview with Tony Swatton of Sword and Stone to talk about his new YouTube show, Man at Arms. What starts as a simple chat turns into Aaron and Dan’s best day ever! Seriously, one of our best interviews ever. Then, after a cold shower, the boys answer your questions after 200 shows. Then, a special Kicking it with the Captain. As always, we are so very grateful to you, the greatest audience some podcasters could hope for. Thank you.

Another excellent episode and I loved how this is still going strong.
I first started listening when I was in Fort McMurray, in Northern Alberta working on the oil fields and trying to do my apprenticeship for electrical and when the show switched over from Film Fever Radio to Geek in the City, wayyyy back in 2008.
Naturally, I heard about you from Cort & Fatboy, which also lead me to Funemployment Radio.
It was also good to hear your angle on the hiring of Orson Scott Card, and while I won’t wish unempoyment on anyone or call for it, I’m doing like you said and just not buying DC Comics, period. Superhero comics are bad enough for the displays of racism, sexism, and homophobia without them actually hiring another bigot.
Also, you should check out this interview with Richard Neal of Zeus Comics at The Mary Sue. He has a great argument against people claiming his not carrying that issue of Superman is censorship:

As for myself, personally, it’s frustrating as all hell to see this kind of garbage. For DC Comics in particular (not that Marvel is wholly innocent in the treatment of minorities in their comics. Look at what happened to Freedom Ring by Robert Kirkman), it’s like one step forward, three steps back.
Gail Simone plans on bringing in a transgender character in Batgirl?
Fire her. (I know that’s not the reason, but dammit, the timing of her announcement of that deveopment in Batgirl and her firing is too frigging close for my taste.)
Hire Gail Simone back?
Hire Orson Scott Card, known homophobic bigot…
Oh, and SHHHH, Batwoman is getting married, but shhh…
I WANT them to do well, like I want Marvel to do well, but when they pull stuff like this and then hide behind some really weak arguments, such as believing in freedom of speech, it just makes me loose that much more confidence in them.
At any rate, I loved this episode and hearing you guys geek out over the craftsman of movie weapons was awesome! I’ve subscribed to Man At Arms and the latest episode was Finn’s sword from Adventure Time! Very cool!
